We work for the user

ÉclaireSkin does not accept advertising, affiliate commissions or paid brand placement. If the business earns revenue, it should come from users—not from influencing what they buy.

We explain, not diagnose

The app provides AI-generated educational observations based on the information a user chooses to provide. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose skin conditions and does not replace a pharmacist, GP or dermatologist.

We use plain English

Skincare should not require a chemistry degree. We aim to explain ingredient types, routine order and trade-offs without making ordinary people feel behind.

We protect the quiet parts

Your saved profile and routine remain in your browser rather than an ÉclaireSkin account database. Information required for an AI request is processed through our server and Anthropic as explained in the Privacy Policy.

Our editorial standard

Learning content is designed for people first. Articles identify who created them, link their supporting sources, disclose review status and distinguish educational skincare information from medical advice. Draft health-adjacent content remains outside search indexing until the relevant legal and editorial review is complete.
